2ND DELEGATION ASSEMBLY 2026
FINAL MESSAGE
FINAL MESSAGE
With gratitude and joy, we look back to some shared experiences in the past few days.
The moment of our second delegation assembly has been lived as a time of grace where each sister was invited to cultivate an atmosphere of deep listening and sharing, active participation and collaboration so as to build pathways that bring renewal to our communities and mission.
The second delegation assembly has been inspired by the theme “Deepening our roots in Christ to renew the heart of our community and mission”. Illumined and challenged by these words in our daily interactions we were led to anchor our lives in the word of God, in order to foster resilience and renewal as effective agents to the mission.
Biblical passage “You did not choose me, but I choose you, and appointed you to go and bear fruits. Jn 15:16”, assured us that God takes initiative, repurposes us, and walks along with us till the end. St Francis of Assisi whose anniversary we celebrate is the best example of a one who abandoned his life to be driven by God.
After the opening ceremony, it was followed by a day spent in prayer and recollection. In his talk the priest pointed out that renewal is made through fruits of interior conversion that invites us for a continuous metanoia, works of charity and becoming peace builders.
Daily we were nourished by the holy Eucharist and prayers that were prepared according to different themes. Reflections from Madre Maria Fardin to deepen on our Logo, put emphasis on our being rooted and renewed in Christ. She used an imagery of a fortified wall that for it to be strong one need to choose wisely the correct stones and place them in the rightful place. Our communities therefore should be homes where quality life and mission is shared.
Our life centered in Christ as consecrated women, fraternal life, apostolates and sustainability, have been key areas of our work. Bringing forth reflections that fosters growth and renewed commitment in our spiritual and vowed life. Going back to a life that is authentic and prophetic as desired by our founder Blessed Elizabeth Vendramini would make our fraternal life desirable, and our availability for the mission as credible witnesses of the gospel would throw us to the whole world as “wind”.
Each sister has been invited to therefore go out and bear fruits, fruits, that will last. Starting from within self to our communities and the peripheries of our apostolates.
